In partnership with Southern Minnesota Municiple Power Agency (SMMPA), we are able to offer rebates to Litchfield Public Utilities residential and commercial customers!

To apply for an Energy Star Rebate, use the link below to find the Energy Star Rebate application.
Complete the application and submit it to City Hall with a copy of your paid receipt and the energy guide from the appliance (or another document showing the Energy Star Logo relating to this appliance). Your rebate will be submitted to SMMPA and once the City of Litchfield has received payment, it will be applied to your Public Utility account.
HOLIDAY LED LIGHTING AND DECORATION REBATES
If you’re buying new light strings to decorate your home this holiday season, choose LED lights and decorations to save energy and to help protect the environment—that’s a gift our planet will really appreciate.
Through December 31, Litchfield Public Utilities is offering our electricity customers rebates of up to $12 for each plug-in LED string or decoration of energy-efficient holiday lighting they purchase.
